Brett Parbery

Brett Parbery was raised on a cattle property in the mountainous district of Dorrigo, NSW. He was raised within a professional training stable producing horses for western sports such as cutting, campdrafting and rodeo. After a fruitful career in the western sports, including a successful stint competing on the pro rodeo circuit of North America and Canada, Brett decided to return to Australia to search for new challenges in the equine industry. Having always been fascinated with the equestrian sports, Brett decided to try his hand at the most complex of them all, Dressage. This was at the end of 1998. Since committing to dressage, Brett has had success at both State and National levels, and has spent three of the last five years abroad learning his chosen trade from the best in the world, the Germans and the Dutch. Nowadays, Brett has built up a professional training stable and is based just south of Sydney in the popular equestrian locality of Penrose, located in the beautiful Southern Highlands. At Cedar Lodge, Brett, Melinda and their elite team of dressage horses enjoy the world class facilities, purchased and developed by them during 2007.
